Hi,

I am working for company A, which has filed for my Green Card. i got my EAD, 140 approved and 485 pending more than 6 months.
I am still maintaining the H1 status with company A. I am planning to move to company B using H1 transfer with out using my EAD.

1. Should i need to transfer my EAD to company B or maintain with company A? please advise.
2. If i maintain my EAD with company A and if I move to Company B via H1 transfer and if company A cancels my H1 will it affect my GC processing?
3. Is it possible to transfer my EAD (GC processing) to company B with out using EAD, and still maintain H1 status? if so what is the process to trasnfer.

Appreciate your help.

-----------------------Let the new employer file H1 transfer for you. once get H1 transfer filing reciept from USCIS you can join new employer.

1. Should i need to transfer my EAD to company B or maintain with company A? please advise.
---------------------- You dont need EAD transfer. EAD is based on your Pending I-485, EAD does not belong A or B or C. I-485 is YOUR petition and EAD AP belong to you.

2. If i maintain my EAD with company A and if
I move to Company B via H1 transfer and if company A cancels my H1 will it affect my GC processing?
------ -----No. your I-485 is pending more than 180 days and I-140 is approved and you are eligible for AC21. when join new employer file AC21. Read AC21 thread.
3. Is it possible to transfer my EAD (GC processing) to company B with out using EAD, and still maintain H1 status? if so what is the process to trasnfer.
------------------You DONT transfer EAD it belongs to YOU. if you join new employer with H1 transfer you will be on H1 status. new employer must file H1 transfer BEFORE the past employer revoke your H1 by writing to USCIS.
Appreciate your help.

-----------------------------------------------NO. you will invoke AC21 with job offer letter of new employer B and after I-485 approval you should work for new EmployerB for 5-6 months as your I-485 is going to be approved based on job offer letter of B.
Please advise.
