H1 transfer while on L1 COS

I am on L1 visa (Employer A). Employer A applied for a H1 petition that has got approved starting Oct 1 my status in US will change.

I intend to change to Employer B.

Question is timing of transfer H1 approval to another Employer B ?
Can I transfer before status changes from L1 to H1 ?
or
I need to wait for status change from L1 to H1 first and then transfer to Employer B ?

Let the status change from L1 to H1 get approved. once H1 gets approved work few months on H1 status so that you should have 2-3 pay stubs on H1 status and then let the new employer file H1 transfer. Don't join new employer with just H1 transfer filing receipt, join only once your H1 transfer gets approved with I-94 attached with H1 approval notice. Request new employer to file H1 Through premium Processing so that you know the results in 20-25 days from the date USCIS gets your Petition.

However status change from L1 to H1 will happen only from Oct01 (effective date of H1 status change).

Will your advice of waiting till H1 status change and additional 2-3 months still hold true before initiating transfer with new employer ?
Or I can initiate the H1 transfer before that.

---------If employer A filed H1 and H1 is approved with I-94 then you can join A on Oct 01 on H1 status but if you want to join Employer B then work with A after October for 2-3 months so that you get pay stubs and then B can file H1 transfer for you..

Or I can initiate the H1 transfer before that.
