H1 Transfer Revalidation

I have applied for H1 transfer with my new employer on sept 10th along with last paystub that I received from my previous emplyer on Aug 9th. Therefore, there is 1 month gap.

If my H1 is not approved due to 1 month of gap, do I have to go outside for stamping immediately? My visa on passport is epired. How many days you are given have before you have to leave for revalidation?

If your visa transfer is not approved, you have to revalidate the existing I-797 in order to work for the old employer. Yes, in that case you have to travel outside of the U.S. and obtain a new I-94.
