Background
I quit company A and Joined Company B in March of this year. Company A cancelled its H1 in March after I received Company B H1-B receipt notice . The receipt date was 02/15/2008.

The H1-B transfer was approved on 05/20. The approval notice (I-797A) has start date of 5/20/08 and end date of 01/30/11. The company B applied for the start date of 02/01/08 and end date of 01/30/11.

Question:
Is it a problem that start date for the new H1 approval notice with Company B is 05/20 instead of 02/01/08. I am worried that I may be denied H1B stamp when I visit a US consulate as I started to work in March with Company B but the start date on approval notice is 05/20 and I am also worried that this may affect my I-1485 process( I am dependent applicant).

Also, the Company B is paying more than salary they offered in the offer letter and LCA (bcos the client is paying a high hourly rate to them). Is that a problem too?

I appreciate your help on this Question.

Thanks

Getting paid more than the LCA level is not a problem, but I would ask that question to my employer's attorney. What was the start date mentioned in the H-1B application?

Thanks for you reply. H1B transfer was applied with the start date Feb 01 2008 for three years so the end will be 01/30/2011 (which is correct on 797). The problem is only the valid from (start) date which 5/20 (this is the date the 797 is approved). Any body had seen the similar suggestion..

Thanks
