One more help i need....what are the prerequisites of getting H1 transferred and how is the process initiated and do we have to go again to Consulate for H1 transfer?
-------------new employer/lawyer will need 2-3 recent pay stubs ,H1 approval notice copy and all other document from your side, if trasfer approved you will get I-94 attached with new H1 approval notice and do not need new visa stamp in passport, no visit to consulate needed. once you are out and visa stamp expires then only you need new visa stamp to enter
