H1 transfer outside USA - help

Please, someone answer these queries and save me tons of frustration. I would really appreciate if you gave some alternatives/suggestions too

Present situation:
I have a H1 petition(valid until Oct 2008) from Company A and a valid H1 visa stamp for the same.
I am presently outside the US. 6 months prior, I was in the US working for Company A.
Now I would like to change my employer and apply for a H1 transfer to company B.

Queries:
1. Can i apply for a H1 transfer to company B while I am outside the USA?
2. If so, can I travel to the US on the old visa stamp, assuming the H1 transfer is allowed?
3. I have paystubs upto Jan 2006 during which time I left the US. would these paystubs be OK while applying for the H1 transfer?
4. If company A cancels my H1 petition, can i still do a H1 transfer from outside USA?
5. If company A cancels my H1 petition, and company B applies for a new H1 petition, can I travel to the US with the old visa stamp? (assuming company B's petition is approved)

---------------If comany A has cancelled your H1 petition then dont try to enter US on company A visa you may be sent back from POE
5. If company A cancels my H1 petition, and company B applies for a new H1 petition, can I travel to the US with the old visa stamp? (assuming company B's petition is approved)
--------- if you are out and company B files New H1 for you then after B gets H1 approval notice then get H1 Visa stamp based on B H1 approval notice and then enter US
