I am going to transfer my H1B visa to new company (better one) from Texas.
Someone pls tell me which forms to fill out ( same as new H1B) and time taken for this process will be same as new H1B petition.
with a LCA done by the new company , use form I129. Add proof of previous status, paystubs. This is Generally done by the new company. If you are doing by yourself , please use a lawyer, since it is not like filing your taxes. My 2c.
If you\'re asking basic questions like this I certainly wouldn\'t advise doing this yourself. You are very likely to forget something or fail to prove a necessary element of the H-1 and you will then get an RFE.
