H1 Transfer Issue -- Confused?

Hi,

I need guidance on this issue. I am not sure how much time I have on my H1. Any help advice on this is greatly appreciated.

I got my first H1 in Feb 2001 till Feb 2004 from Company A.
Applied for extention in Feb 2004 and got it valid till Feb 2007.

Then I changed companies in July 2005 and got a transfer with a new H1 valid from July 2005 - June 2007 from Company B.

I went back to India in Dec 2005 and returned in Feb 2007. In July 2006 another company Company C filed a transfer. But now my H1 approval shows validity till 2009 making it valid for 3 years instead of the 1 year 8 months that were left. The company filed it for 3 years but it was a transfer.

I am not sure where I stand and how much time I have left on my H1. Please advice.

Since you have spent more than 1 year outside US, you are eligible for fresh 6 years on H1. Validity until 2009 looks ok in that case.
