Hi,
I am currently on H1b working in a non-profit organization (so quota rule does not apply). I am in MA

Scenario 1:
If I get a job in a different department in the same company what happens to my H1 (is there a transfer procedure, time to do so etc. )

Scenario 2:
- If I get a job in a different company (commercial) will the quota rule affect my H1b since I came from a non=profit organization ??

Scenario 3:
- If I loose my job how much time do I have ?. I am married to a USC and am applying for Green Card but what happens during the processing of my application ?

Thanks in advance.

If you filed your I 485/ I 130 , at the time of filing you have valid I 94, then you are covered your status until your I 485 is approved. SO do not delay it, do it yesterday.
Thanks in advance.
