H1 transfer/H4 Stamping in Chennai COnsulate

Hello Experts,

I would like to take a hint from you, if there are any issues with chennai consulate in getting H4 visa stamping.

I worked for company A until a month ago and my H1B was issued till Apr2005. My spouse and Kid have got thier H4 at chennai consulate with out any issues last year and they got the same date of I-94 as I got which is valid till Apr2005.

Now I changed to company B who filed for my H1B transfer and for which I have not got any approval yet. Company A normally does H1B cancellation when a person moves out of them. I have asked for premium processing with the h1b transfer and I might get the approval any time next week.

In this scenario, we are planning for a trip to India and I may not join my family with the trip. As soon as I get my approval, I will send it to them in India and ask them to get their passports stamped. My worry is, since I am still here in USA with out new approval's stamp on my passport and old stamp is invalid as the visa is cancelled by company A, is there any kind of issues with my family's h4 stamping..

Post your Visa Dates, you may not need new stamping

All our original visa sta1mping dates are till apr21,2005
I am not sure whether these dates are valid as the original H1B I was on might have bern cancelled by my previous employer..

You H visa continues to be valid until it's expiration. Cancellation of previous H petition has no affect on the H visa stamp.
