H1 transfer before joining sponserer

I'm currently on L1, and a desi consultancy company is ready to sponser my H1(my first H1) at my cost.

My question is, after I get my H1 papers, if I get an offer from another company before I join this desi company, will I be able to transfer my H1 to this new company?.

Appreciate any help with my question.

no. as the name implies h1 transfer or extension is only for people who are already in h1. if you dont join the company A then you have to file another fresh h1 as you are still in L1.
