H1 transfer and travel outside to US.

I have a valid visa until April 2007. If I have my H1B tranferred to a new employer, then leave the country, do I have to re-stamp my visa for the new empoyer's H1 or can I enter with just my old visa and new H1B?

Any advice/experince is greatly appretiated.

you can enter with your old visa, even though your I-797 is with for new employer. Somewhere in http://chennai.usconsulate.gov/wwwhniv.html it is mentioned.
