My exsisting H1-visa (from company A) is expiring on Oct 1,2002 and so is the I-94 card too.
Company A has filed my H1-extension petition in July end but I still have not got the approval..I just have EAC number.
Currently another company B has filed for a H1-transfer for me through premium processing. They want me to start with them from 19th Sep 2002. My approval should come in by Sep 30.
Now in this scenario. With my H1-transfer approval notice coming before Sep 30 2002. Do i need to go out of the country before Oct 1 2002. and get the transfered visa stamped and upon re-entry get a new I-94 card.
Or can I stay here in US with a trasnfered H1-approval visa but expired I-94 card. And get the visa stamped and new I-94 after my re-entry any time later.
