h1 transfer _ visit India_ stamp on visa

Hi,

I have recently transferred my H1 from company A to company B. I have received the new H1 document from my company B as well.
On my passport my visa is stamped till Dec 2006 that was given to me by Company A.
Can I make a visit to India in Oct for a month and return in Nov before my visa stamp on passport expires in dec 2006.
