h1 to h1 issue

Hi

I was working fpr company A and then changed my job to company B, I want to go back to company A as they are interested in taking me back.
Both(company A & B) H1-B visas are valid till 2004.

Can I directly go to that company A and work or do I need to infor INS about the change of jobs....? please Help

It is better to do a new H1 transfer. There is an argument that that company A has to pay for all the interim period you were with company B. So it is better to do the H1 transfer.
Although you can work with more than one employer , in order to maintain the validity of both visas, you have to get paid from both employers simultaneously.
