H1 to Greencard & spouse filing ?

Hello

A person is staying in US for last 7 to 8 years on H1B & applied for green card 2 years back (say 2007) so when he will get greencard ? is there any site to find status or any other means to know how far process is done. Secondly when he can file for his spouse so that spouse also get greencard ?

Provide the below info to make a guess:
Country of Birth for the person who is primary for GC ?
PD or the date LC was filed?
EB3 or EB2?
If you have filed I-485 then you can file I-485 of spouse when your PD is current and spouse on valid Visa status in US.
If I-485 (last stage of GC) not filed and spouse is in US then you can file your I-485 and spouse I-485 when your PD (priority date) is current. To know if PD is current or not you need to check Visa bulletin.

** it seems to me that you are spouse of the person who is applicant of GC and are out of US .
OR
You are not married at this time (planning to marry) and trying to find out when that person or you will get GC once you get marry to that person.
** if the person is born in India and GC filed in EB3 then it may take 1-2 years to get GC and nobody can Predict how the Visa numbers are going to be in coming months.
