H1 to F1 problem

Hi,

An employer in the US applied for an H1B for me in June, 05 and the petition was approved in Dec, 05.

However, i changed my mind in between, and am now ready to start my masters studies from Aug, 06. I did not go to the consulate for the H1B and my passport is still unstamped ( i never left India ).

My question is this: After my masters is complete, i would be applying for a H1B. Will this old application cause any problems for me then ? Or is it possible to get this I-797 somehow cancelled before i leave for US ??

Whether using approved H1 or not is up to you and it will not cause problem in the future H1.
