H1 to EAD

Hi Guys,

If I changes from H1 to EAD, what will happen to H4 ...
still can my wife use H4 or do I need to get EAD for wife also.

-------- If the primary H1b holder uses EAD, he will not be on H1 status and H4 holder will also be not on H4 status as H4 is linked to H1 status
