H1 --to be stamped immediatley?

Applied for status change from B2 to H1(premium processing) -- but my I-94 will expire shortly------------if my H1 gets approved after I-94 expiration,is my H1 valid in US(can I start working immediately?) or should I get H1 stamped from India immediately? Kindly help me on this matter--Thanks
 
you are in valid status

because you applied before b2 expiry date. So it is unlikely that you will get a h1 approval without I94. With a I94 for H1, you can start working from the approval date or effective date.
 
How can I track the WAC no.----------online or phone---------if so which ph.no.? ---------thanks

Applied for status change from B2 to H1(premium processing--INS -RFE -this was sent to INS) -- also filed for B2 extension before my I-94 expiry---
1. Will the I-539 -B2, pose a problem for H1 approval?
2. I-539 form was returned today for correction(has the WAC no.)--owing to proper fee not attached(mistake, since I-539 form does not have the updated fees). Now that my B2,I-94 has expired--Will this rectified I-539 be considered?
3. In case H1 is not approved(God forbid), can I stay here in aniticipation of the extension? Kindly help me on this matter--Thanks
