H1 terminated 15 days before

Hi gurus..

I worked for american company more than a year . My project completed on 31-DEC-2003 .

The company called me after two weeks and notified me that , they liad me off 15 days back and they are sending a letter to INS which date on 05-Jan-2004 .


Please suggest me, how can I get valid H1 status.

filed H1 today

I am filing H1 today, will it become problem while H1 approval
because 15 days out of status ?
 
I guess if they receive your Transfer request before the company's job termination letter then it should'nt be a problem.
