H1 status primary if derivative uses EAD

Hi everyone,

I'm on H1 currently and my I-485 is pending (I'm the primary with approved I-140). I never applied for an EAD for myself. My wife is on H4 but she also has an EAD. Now she wants to work and use her EAD.
My question is what will happen to my H1 if she uses an EAD to work?
Can I still work on H1?

My spouse use to work on EAD while I was maintaining the H1 status, so it should not be any problem for primary to maintain H1.
