H1-Stamping

Hello,

My problem is this, I B1/B2 visa expired last March 2002, but a company was able to process my H1-B. Will I have problem my H1? Do I really need to go back to my home country to get my passport stamp?

when is the H1 effective from? Do you have a I94? If answers to both Qs are favorable, then you are fine...
 
My I-94 expired lat March 2002 and my new H1B is effective Jan 7, 2003 to Dec 31, 2005. What do you think is the best thing to do?

You need to go ur home country

When u change from one status to other status u must go to ur home country to get stamped.

Ex. H4 -> H1B ..you need to go ur home country
H1B TRANSFER( from one company h1 to other company h1) no need to go home country u can do it in st.louis(if ur stamped visa expiration date not more than one year)
