My H1 (and dependent's H4) has been extended recently. I am travelling to India in planning to return just 5 days before my current Visa Stamp expiry. I will have the new Approved Petition though just do not want to go through the hassle of stamping.
AFAIK, it is fine and I should get an I-94 till new petition expiry date .
Any idea, if that is incorrect ?
Also, if I decide to go for stamping, does any one any agency in Mumbai which can deposit the fee in HDFC and then submit the docs to VFS ?
This will be my fourth stamping , and second with the same company . No consulting business , no third party client. We are a small IT product company . The company is small (less then 100 people with just 4 employee in H1) but is wholly owned by a corporate giant .
During my last stamping (early 2008) , I did not even have to meet the VO -- an Indian lady called me and said -- "your Visa is granted" -- no question, no documents. With the new scenarios , do you guys think there might be any issue ?
