I am planning to go on a vacation to India on June last week and return back during third week of July, 2008. But I am not clear whether I require to go for stamping at US Consulate. My status is as follows:
1. My Current Visa has expired on Feb 16, 2008 and H1 and Dependent Visa Extension has been filed. I have got the receipt Number( just the numbers not the notice).
2. My Green Card is in process and they had applied under EB1 category. I got my Advance Parole (for myself and Dependents). But my I-140 or I-485 is not approved(its under processing).
Qns:
1. Will my Advance Parole good enough to enter back in US. It was suggested by my account Manager that they wont allow through all the routes to enter in US with Advance Parole. Can you please let me know if this correct and if so, what are the plane routes that accept these like Via FrankFurt, London etc..
2. If my Advance Parole is not good enough, please let me know what are the steps that I need to take to take the appointment for US Consulate and get it stamped at Chennai.
Please let me know if you need more information to analyze on my case.
