H1 stamping - transferred from L1 - Need advise

Hi,

I came to US in L1B visa 2 years back for company A and shifted to H1 visa for company B 2 months back.
Now I need to get stamping for my H1B.
Can you pls advise me regarding this.

1) Can I get stamping from Canada or Mexico . I heard F1 to H1 or H1 to H1 stamping can be obtained from Canada or Mexico easily. Is it possible for L1 to H1 or is it not advisable?

2) what are the additional things I need to take care for Visa stamping in my case since it is a L1 to H1

3) If the Visa officer asks me why I shifted from L1 (company A ) to H1 (company B) what should I answer?
