Hi,
I recently had my passport h1 stamped in Canada. I lost my passport after that. Now I got new passport, do I need to go out of country to get it stamped again? Or can I get it stamped by mail? Does anyone have any experience regarding that? Please let me know

Thanks!

Hi,

If you have the photocopy of your previously stamped visa and the new passport there are no issues, as the visa is already been issued and all they do is verify the visa issuance and other formalities and you are good to go wiht the visa. The only issue may be the date and time of appointment. However, do carry all the documents once again as you never know.

I think you should go to same US consulate that issued you the H1 visa stamp and you gave them the copy of police report. I dont think you can get by mail. try to email to same consulate and see what reply they give you. when you enter US through border post did they give you new I-94???
