Hello all.

I work for a company using EAD. I came to India due to family emergency without Advance Parole in my hand. I did apply for AP before I came to India though. Now, after my Advance Parole is approved, my lawyer has sent it to me in India. But, to be safer side he suggested to get a new H1.

My company was agreed for "Premium Processing H1" and they have asked my lawyer to go for it.

My H1 petition is going to be approved before 5th of August. I just wanted to know answers to following questions:

(I want to be prepared for all documents and procedure, before even I get the approval notice)

1) What is the process for stamping at Delhi consulate?

2) What all documents I need to provide them?

3) What is the best method to get the stamping and passport back soon?

4) If it takes longer (2-3 weeks) to stamp visa, can I get my passport back (how soon?) so that I could take the risk of entering into US on Advance Parole.

5) Would there be any problem if they know I have my green card in process?

6) Can I go to consulate and stand in a queue and get stamping done same day?

7) If I were to schedule appointment, can I do it before visa has been approved?

Note: I have worked on 2 H1's before they file for greencard. I have one of them (first one) stamped on my passport. Other one is not stamped on my passport. After that I started using EAD.

Thanks,
Vivek
