H1 stamping in Mumbai

Hi Prashant

Do you know about this, if so please respond. My I-797, which is extension of H1b includes an I-94, do I need to submit this when I depart for India, or do I keep it and give my I-797 with I-94 to the Embassy in New Delhi.

If you have any idea about this, please let me know.

My experience With Delhi TTS in December

Hi

Just wanted to share my exp with u guys.........i had used portability law and joined my employer earlier. now on my visit to india, i was getting my passport stamped.

i went to delhi TTS office at jhandewalan extn. There is a BOI branch opposite to it..so u can get the drafts from there. The TTS guys gave a folder and asked to submit only the original passport and I797. rest were all copies and they dont return them. they also give form of-156. just stapled my photo and put all docs which i had and gave it to them along with DD\'s.

i gave them an original letter from my employer, passport, OF-156, DDs, original I797, I129, copies of my certificates, my last 2 paystubs, my appointment letter, joining letter. i got the stamped passport with I797 on the 7th business day...(i had applied on mon and got on next tues).
 
Visa for spouse

I am currently in the US working with a company and have a valid H-1B visa. My fiance is in Dubai, UAE. We both are Indian citizens and plan to get married in December 2002. Does any one know what is the procedure to get ones spouse to the US?
