H1 stamping in Canada

Hi,
My wife has valid H4 visa and I94 until Jan 07 '04. She also has a H1 with some company and would like to applear for H1 Visa in Canada, this month. Are there any problems in Canada? Also if she is denied H1 visa, would she be able to enter US on H4 as she has a valid visa?

Yes, there are problems in canada for a h4 to h1. Most of such cases hunker down in US until a comfortable stage in GC is reached (485).
However, yes h4 is valid, but the POE inspector might insist that the h1 approval be surrendered, which means that she cannot work. evaluate the risk.
