H1 Stamping In Canada

Hi,

I have transferred my H1 from company A to B in Dec 2004 and have been working for B since Jan 2005. I have currently applied for my 7th year extension with company B. I haven't got my H1 stamping done with Company B as I had visa stamped in Chennai with company A that was valid until Sept 2005. Now I'm planning to visit Canada for my stamping i.e with comapany B.

Current company B is very small and have few employees. Does this create any problem for stamping ? And I will be the first person going for stamping through this company B.

Please provide your suggestions or share your experiences.

Revalidation is easy, dont need to worry about it.

I'll have my H-1b for my extension for 3 years based on I-140 approval. I'll get it approved here in the US, but can I goto Canada and get a entry permit there, or would I have to return to my home country of Jordan?
 
H-1B Stamping, I-485 and travel

Dear Friends.

I am in final stages of filiing for GC appln through university for Schedule A categorey which is open currently and has option of concurrent filing still available.

Let me give some background of my present status. I and my family entered in US on student/dependent (F-1, F-2) visa, Our F-1/F-2 visa stamp on Passport Expired in January 2006. I worked on OPT from August to March at University and My and my Families H-1 (H-4) applications were approved in 03/06. So I am currently on H-1 from March-2006 and My Family is on H-4. WE HAVENT YET STAMPED H-1 (H-4) VISA ON THE PASSPORT.

I have these questions in regards to I-485 filing

(1) After Filing I-485 can I go to out of country (Canada or Mexico) and get H-1B (H-4) stamped on the Passport (Without making use of ADVANCE PAROLE)? or I have to do that BEFORE I FILE FOR I-485?

(2) which Place in Canda or Mexico may be best to Go for quick and easy stamping of H-1/H-4?

your insight and answers will help me a lot.

why do you need visa stamp?
If you do need for some reason, why not go after 485 filing and obtaining EAD\AP?

visa stamping!

Gurus,
I need some information about stamping at Ottawa. I am on H1b for the past 7 yers and now have 3 years extension based on approved I-140. Not able to apply for I-485 due to retrogression. I had only one visa stamping in 1999 and came to USA. that is expired. I have not gone out of the country for the past 6 years. Now I need to travell to India and london to visit my parents. Could you tell me any issues? I also own my own house in the US. Is there any risks.How is ottawa. I work for a US based company full time for the past 6 years.Please give your thoughts since I have no experience with Canada stamping.
