H1 stamping in Canada/Mexico

My H1 stamp has been expired 1 1/2 year back.

Can I go to Canada/Mexico for restamping (My visa was expired a 1 1/2 year back)?

Which place is the best and How I can proceed for that?


Your sugestions will help me to go India after 7 years in this retrogression time.
 
Legally, Canadian or Mexican US Consulates can stanp your visa. But know that if they reject it for any reason, you cannot re-enter US even if you have a valid Notice of Action (I-797). You can schedule a VISA stamping appointment in India so that you can get your VISA stamped when you there. Details here - www.vfs-usa.co.in
