H1 stamping for the first time

HI,

It would be appreciable if you knowledge people out there will help me. I came to USA on a B1 visa, after a while I got a H1 visa from company AB, which I had not got stamped. I left company AB and joined XY, now after couple of years of working on H1, I plan to get it stamped. Has anyone faced such a situation and got the visa stamped? Which is the ideal US consulate to visit: Canada or Mexico or Chennai itself for the first time stamping?

Did you file change of status from B to H ? And how soon did you change the status from B to H ?
In general, it should be fine, but if you change B to H too soon like within 60days, it may cause an issue.
 
Hi

I had got B visa couple of years back, and this was the third time I came to USA on B visa, and got H1 visa, Now after getting H1 visa for couple of years I want to get it stamped, will it be difficult now?
