i am staying in usa on H1 VISA since last 4 yrs. i just got another H1 approval. my previous H1 stamp is expired now. i have to travel to india next month. i took an apppintment for H1 stamp in canda. i read their rules and regluations about giving the stamp. i read this" The passport must have an expiration date at least 6 months beyond the intended duration of the visit" on their site. now my problem is that i have my approval for the period of 2 yrs and my passport is expiring in 1 1/2 yrs. so i am wondering that if i will get the stamp from the embassy or not. i have all the documentation which is needed for stamping. plaese guide me. thanx.
