All,

My H1 petition has been approved and I have got the I-797 from my company's lawyer. My company is saying they can't give me all the filing papers as it contains company confidential information. Whereas my past 2 employers sent me copies of all the filing papers.

Please tell me by law what H1 filing papers ( LCA , Non Immigrant Petition Form etc ) an employer should give to the employee.

Thank You,

If you are going for Visa stamp out of US from consulate then you need employer letter, recent H1b approval notice, lawyer certified copy of form I-129 and copy of LCA that was submitted to USCIS

If Visa revalidation in US then employer letter that state your job title and skills in detail, wages being paid to you and request for Visa stamp and your recent H1b approval notice
