H1 Revalidation Issue

Dear Friends

I got H1B Visa in June 2000 and in my visa i saw expiry date as June 2005. I reached US by the end of July 2000 and Iam still working here for my employer. I am with same employer who did my h1 in india. While entering US the immagration officer at the port of entry had put the same expiry in my I-94 (ie) June 2005.

In My visa the issue date was 14june 2000 and expiry date was 13june2005 and also i saw in my visa stamping "PED 15FEB2003",along with the I-797 file number(EAC-XX..)and my employer name. what is PED fullform?

In the first I-797 the approval dates were from FEB2000 - FEB 2003.so By Jan 2003 my employer applied for extension and also got it approved and now i have one more I-797 which is valid from jan 2003 to jan 2006.

Do I need to get a stamping for the new I 797 now or should i get it only after the visa expired.I also saw a similar case of one more person getting visa for 5 years(from nov2000-nov2005).
Has anybody got such visas or does anyone heard of such long duration. please let me know ?.I need to go to india during the year end, will I have a problem while re-entry if i dont get it stamped?.

In any case I have sent my passport and documents to st.louis by mid august.I see people giving DC-Recvd date, and when the money order was encashed. How does one find when DC office received the passport and docs. Are there any phone numbers for that ?.

Thanks,

dont get confused by too many terminolgies. You are eligible for visa revalidation in St .Louis. Ask the money order company how you can trace the encashment of the MO,,,
