H1 Revalidation - Employment Letter 2 months old

I received my H1 renewal notice and employment letter to be sent to St. louis appox 2 1/2 months back from my employer.
Question is, is it ok to send the employment letter which dated back in April 2004 or should I ask for the new letter, as it's going to take atleast 4-5 days for me to receive it and I recently learned about the deadline july 17.

Please advice!

---I will take the NEW letter with recent date

as it's going to take atleast 4-5 days for me to receive it and I recently learned about the deadline july 17.
----Yes, dead line is 17 july and your application should reach before that.
Please advice!
