H1 revalidation - Applied April 5th, when can I expect pp

What is the form that I send with my pp for revalidation

I know now that it will takes 2 month for stamp.
I have letter from INS regarding H1. I need stamp on my pp.

What is the form that I send with my pp for revalidation?

you go to http://www.travel.state.gov/visa_services.html and choose option revalidating visa in US this will tell you what you have to do

previous visa denial in india

I had my J-1 visa application denied in india in 1994. since then i have had numerous J-1 visas approved and H-1 visa stamped on my passport. will this be a problem for revalidation at st. louis?

Revalidation at StLouis

Hey Your stamp on visa at st louis does not depend on previous denial of Visa. It is only granted if you have a valid stamp on yur passport and also an approved application from your employer. As I had a previous denied F-1 Visa but later got an approval for the F-1 and H1 (twice) and I got my stamp from st Louis in Jan of this year with out any trouble. Just make sure you send all the needed documents and a stamped return envelope or a FexEx envelope.

I-797 Orginal to St Louis

I sent my original I-797 instead of a copy for the stamping, will they send the original back?

Should i send them a copy and ask them to send back the original?

spoke to visa officer she wouldnot check the status of the application said it is taking anywhere from 5-12 weeks for h revalidation send on may 30 still waiting
