H1 Revalidation and Landing

I have to travel Canada to complete Landing process and also get my H1B visa revalidated (completed 6 yrs and in 7th yr now). Planning to go to Calgary. Has anyone recently went thro this process. Any suggestions/warnings. Thanks in advance
