H1 reval - resending after long time, is it ok?

Hi,

My company had sent my H1 for reval to St. Louis in mid March. However it came back to me with a refusal letter (dated May 2nd) that DS-157 was not enclosed. Can I send the same forms now with DS-157? Isn't it too late to send it now with correction (after about 2 months +)?

Your valuable and experienced views are highly appreciated.
Thanks,

If visa has been valid for

1 year and under you can send for revalidation. You might have to repay the processing fee though. Which means that you are better off filing a new set for revalidation.

Thanks a lot Jaxen,

To add to my query, the letter that I have received states that I should send the DS-157 and a new DS-156 to the DC address (there is no mention of fee here). I have a new letter of employment from my company, in case it is required.

So, can I send the same forms with new DS-156 and DS-157 with new letter from my company minus fee directly to DC? Remember the letter was dated May 2nd. However there is no mention of number of days to send back the forms in the letter I have received.

Thanks,
-vmm
