H1 restamping in the US

my cousin's first H1b will expire on November 2006. she moved to a new employer last july and got an approval for another 3 years. if she goes out of the country after november 2006 and comes back, doesnt she need a new H1b visa stamped for her re-entry? she keeps asking her lawyer but the lawyer tells her that her I-94 will suffice and that she doesnt need a new visa stamp. please guide us. thank you.

If her H1 stamp is still valid, she does not need to get stamp.

She must obtain visa stamp at US consulate abroad. Home country is safe option.
