H1 Receipt Date is 31st May.

I have applied for new H1 and received the EAC Number (Vermont Center) . When I check the status on the site Its saying "We have received your application 31st May". But My consultant is saying that my H1 filed before 26th.

Does this mean that the Application will be rejected ??? ( as CAP reached on 26th itself ).

Then what is this date "31st" that is shown up on the site .Could some one let me know my status.

If you have received EAC number then it should be within quota. People who are out of quato don't get EAC number and their application gets returned without any review.

These year service center were not able to enter data on time that's why even though your employer sent your application before May 26th they could enter only on 31st May. Your application was timely filled, I am very positive.

Actually the good news is that for all the application received on 26th , USCIS has found that almost all are safe. They have kept 90, 100 which could not qualify for this year quota.
