H1 Re-Stamping required for H1 Transfer?

Hi,

My current H1 stamping with employer 1 is valid till Oct 2010. I transferred my H1 and got approval notice with employer 2. I came to India.

Is it required to get re-stamping in consulate in India? Or the old stamping with new approval notice is sufficient to enter into US?

Do I need to restamp my wife H4 Visa?

------------------------if she has valid visa stamp then no need of Visa stamp she will show valid Visa stamp AND your H1 transfer approval at POE and should get I-94 till your H1 transfer approval. check validity of her I-94. when she is in US file her H4 extension before her I-94 gets expired.

If you have valid H1 visa stamp in your passport and H1 transfer approval with you then you don’t need new Visa stamp. You should show valid H1 visa stamp at POE AND H1 approval notice at POE and you would get I-94 valid till H1 transfer approval notice.

If H4 holder has valid Visa stamp then H4 holder should show H4 valid Visa stamp AND your H1 transfer approval at POE. If H4 holder has no visa then get H4 visa stamp.
