h1 premium processing

my new employer has filed for my h1 visa through the premium processing program. its been like 9 days since it was filed. but my lawyer says he hasnt received any receipt notice yet. So my question is , do we get any receipt notice for h1 premium processing like the normal way or do we just get the approval notice straightaway ?? thanks for any info, - chandrasekar kannan

Nothing would be informed until and unless you ask them. Ask your lawyer to send an email to INS with your info and they would get you the info you need the same day

I never heard any thing from INS after I applied for Premium Processing but just the approval. I got approval on 13th day.
