H1 period after I changed from L1 to H1b visa

Hi all,

I need some information, I will really appreciate if anyone can help
case is as below:
I was working for company A and was in US for 1 year, then I applied for H1 through company B, and changed status from L1 to H1B, now working with Company B. I did not leave country till now, so everything happened while I was in US
Now the question is - What will be my maximum period allowed to stay in US. I know its usually 6 years, but will my 1 year on L1 visa be counted in this?
Does anyone know or have been in same situation?

You can stay upto 6 years combining L1 and H1 together. You spent 1 year
with L1, so that your remaining period with H1 is 5 years.
