H1 pending on RFE. Can I apply for another H1?

Hello everyone,
here is my situation:

My H1 approval is pending because they sent an RFE. My educational background is in biology while this job is for IT consulting( I have an MBA and IT training). They want evaluation of my work experience and education.
I'm concerned they will reject my visa.

My question is, can I apply for another H1 through another company? This job is more aligned to my education and the visa approval should be straight-forward. Will the new application cancel the old one?

Also, is there a way for me to cancel/revoke my old H1 application by myself?

Any advice?

----------NO, only employer who filed can cancel/revoke by writing to USCIS and if they dont submit RFE and USCIS does not Accept then USCIS will deny the petition.
Any advice?
