h1 not yet stamped on my passport?

hi there folks
i am new to this ....i and my husbdan entered the usvi on our b1 visa and got it changed to H1 for hima nd H4 for me
now we have a letter stating that we have the valid visas here ie h1 and h4 however it is not stamnoed on our passports bcoz of which we cant travel outside the us of a
now i wish to goto st maarten and now i need to have my h4 stamoed on my passport
how do i go about doing this
i hear i have to goto barbados embassy to have it stamped , and theni can travel .....
anyone has any views on this ?

Yes, i think one has to go to home country to get it stamped.
