h1/h4 stamping and collecting canadian PR for Pakistani national

Hi,

Did anyone recentily get their h1/h4 stamped from canada? How was your special registration/ stamping experiance? I have just now recivied my canadian immigration and need to travel to canada with my wife to collect the papers. I am wondering if getting h1/h4 stamped is required if you go to canada for a couple of days? how was your experiance?

I landed on Aug 25th. My interview was scheduled for Aug 27th in Ottawa. During the interview, the person only asked for my transcript and pay stubs. They told me that security check can take from anywhere from 7 days to 1 month or more. After 3 business days, I received the call from embassy that they received my security clearance and I can come and collect my visa. After the interview, they gave me and my wife's passports so in case we wanted to travel outside Canada, we can do that. The whole process was pretty smooth.
