H1/H4 Question

Hi,

My husband is currently in Canada and I am in the US on H1. My H1 expires in October 2007 and my extension is currently in process. Can my husband apply for H4 now in Canada? or does he have to wait for my H1 extension to be approved first?

You can apply right now no need to wait h4 extn but keep a copy of h1 extn petition recipt during interview in Canada
