H1,H4 new passport, Revalidation !!

Please give me some guidence...

Here is my situation.

I came to US via Company A, and later went to india , got married and got H4 (chennai consulate) for my wife. We both were in US.

Company B did a premium processing and got a new H1 (valid till 2008). Since i didnt one paystub, Company B applied a new H1 instead of transfer. So the petition that i got from Company B doesnt have any I94. Company B asked me to go out of US and re-enter US so that i can get a new I94 (with company B's date). I and my wife both went to Canada and when returning back, we got I94. The officer at the POE wrote my Comp A data by looking at my visa stamp (like the expiry date and the SRC# on back of I94) in my I94. Date was the date of the visa stamp and the petition # was the Comp A petition. I did not notice that and i came into US. I am working with this Company B for the past 1.5 years.

Stamping on my passport and my wife's passport is of Company A and its expiring in Oct 2007.

Now my wife is in India to give birth to a baby.

In the mean time, my passport was about to get expired (only 5 months left) and i got a new passport during my stay in India last month.

I came to US this week using Company B petition with Company A stamping in the passport, got updated I94 (this time though, I94 data is 100% correct with Company B's data) . ( My current passport is expiring only in april 2007)

My questions are :

If i go for revalidation, will it be a problem because of my earlier I94 issue (working in company B while the i94 has comp A data) ?? I was out of status only for a month (july 2005).

What is the process of getting visa for my new born baby ?? Do i have to revalidate my visa to apply for baby visa ?

since I am in US and my wife already has a H4 visa, can i apply H4 for my kid via post ?? or does my wife has to bring my 7 month old baby to chennai consulate ??

--------------the officer is correct, he gave you I-94 till A visa on passport. your employer gave you wron.g info. you needed to get H1 stamp with B approval notice. B filed new H1 not H1 transfer, to work with B you needed to enter with B visa stamp. if it was H1 transfer then you could have entred with A valid visa AND at POE you should have shown visa of A AND H1 approval of A.

--------------May be, it seems to me your work withCompany B for the past 1.5 years was not authorized work. talk to your company lawyer

----------------baby passport,baby birth certificate and your passport pages employer letter,W-2 and same documents that your wife deededc for her H4 stamping
