H1 + H4 completing 6 years

and 5 years of H1 for spouse.

Need some expert advice soon.

First 4 years I am on H1 then next 2 years (by Aug 31) on H4

can I be legal in US if spouse has applied for H1 extension (applied on July 15) the problem is it taking 10 weeks in vermont
center and by the time its approved/disapproved it will be beyond

what are the chances of my H4 getting approved?
 
6years is counted towards the cumulative presence in all H visa. So you have to leave US, unless their is a 7th year extension (based on a pending GC more than a year) or in adjustment to GC status (I485 pending)

My spouse likes to continue the job and can get H1 ext because she has stayed in US only for 5 years.

O god!!! The law of the land is separating us ;-(
